It's not India. But we could figure out what type of area Gen 9 could be, and could help us narrow down the locations.
Kanto:Metro
Johto:Cultural
Hoenn: Tropical
Sinnoh: Cold
Unova:Metro
Kalos:Cultural
Alola:Tropical
Galar: Cold

If we go by patternfag theory, the next region will be a metro area.

My expectations will be neutral. I’m not expecting Gen 9 to be a great. I’m mainly interested in using the new mons and seeing the new waifus.
