You have to be doing it wrong, it’s impossible unless you have the worst possible luck in the world.

I can do multiple hunts and even if I’m not getting what I want, I’ll literally trip over shinies on the way to the outbreak nearly every other reset, and I don’t have the charm or perfected dex.

I've gotten a shiny Drifloon and Wurmple randomly and a shiny Chimchar in an outbreak without even resetting. You did complete the pokedex entries, right?

I don't know if the chance is really that much different, but last night i got my first shiny a pink Sealeo in cobalt coastland, 32 hours in the game, so i guess it's still rare, but not su much?
