What do you consider a traditional pokemon game? Because if Swsh was a traditional game then the new ones seems to be traditional games as well since they look to be the same, but supposedly open world.

It could been better but the hate is overstated, i really did like that the Wild Area gave A LOT of options to you immediately and Candy meant training up shit you don't wanna use just for Dex entries was easier then ever, also honestly kinda liked the "Barter with Randoms" Trade Meta it brought by cucking the GTS, the Machamps and hacking shit kinda soiled it but it was real easy to make good trades for version exclusives and Trade-Evo mons the early days.

DLC definitely felt better then getting Third/Fourth Version at least and i think it is a step up from ORASSMSUSM and a better send off then those would been but that doesn't change that i think PLA BTFO'd it.

Absolutely fucking not.
It killed any chance of it being a good game on release by not making sure that you could use all the 'mons, and will be refereed to as the black sheep of the franchise for that.

Repels are consumable, they're not a given. In games with overworld encounters, grass is meaningless and ironically enough, the maps are even more like hallways.
