Open world and seamless battles without a transition screen are the main Legends features
actual abilities & battle mechanics can be tweaked each game

so you people are glad the game will be back at wild areas with empty overworld and slow battles, instead of being the classic formula (battle-focused with cities and gyms) with Legends overworld mechanics (sneaking/using items/optional catching outside of the battle)? you really deserve all the shit gamefreak has done in the last 26 years

This will also most likely be the first standard mainline game without roadblocks.
Well DP with glitches probably counts sort of, but it feels good to get rid of this annoying game design altogether. Particularly after how much GF abused it for convenience.

Stantler got in BDSP, got a new model, animations and evolution in PLA, and will return YET AGAIN for SV alongside all other Pokemon who got new Hisuian Forms or evolutions in PLA.
Charizard is not yet anywhere in sights despite being "the most popular Pokemon of all time", meaning it runs the risk of going two core games in a row without attendance.
