I don't know if it's just me but I find mons like these have a forced typing.
It used to be that typing was related to the animal/object/concept. Grass types were based on plants or at least had plants in their bodies or were beings that lived in jungles/forests, water types were fish or animals who live in coasts or bodies of water, rock types were literal fucking sentient rocks, etc.

But pokémon like pic related have nothing to do with their typing. They pick a dog and call it a rock. They pick a cat and call it a plant. Why? They just changed the color to the one most associated with the typing and that's it. Typing done.

Am I wrong here? If so please show me how, convince me to love them.
