Fire looks like a retard like the Tepig line and I hate it. Water looks like a literal faggot and a human, moreso than even Snivy, I hate it. Grass is fine but you just know it's going to look like a devientart furry OC when you evolve it. Gamefreak unironically can't design Pokemon anymore.

I'm willing to wait til I see their final forms but right now not to enthused. Gen 5 were the last good starters imo, after that there's a very noticeable SOUL decline.

the croc is the best one, is the most original and is cute. grass cat is pleasant and cute but is just a pokemon grass cat, not very striking, evolutions may redeem it. water duck is just boring but thats personal preference, evolutions may redeem it. overall better than gen 8 and 6, on par with 7 and 5 worse than the rest.
