>>49780017Here's how damage calculation in Legends: Arceus works:
>Attack * 0.2 + Level * 3 + 20>divided by Defense + 50>then multiplied by Power, STAB (1.25x), effectiveness (2.5, 2.0, 0.5, 0.4), and other modsGarchomp get 388~ 414 ~ 440 Attack at Lv. 100 + 10 ELs, Bulldoze is 60 Power
273 ~ 289 ~ 305 Sp. Atk, Earth Power is 80 Power
>((88+300+20)/(Defense+50))*60*1.25>((61+300+20)/(Defense+50))*80*1.25If Defense = 100, STAB Bulldoze is 204 damage vs. 254 damage on Earthquake
If Defense = 200, 122.4 vs. 152.4
If Defense = 300, 87.4 vs. 108.9
If Defense = 400, 68 vs. 84.7
Because your Attack stat is divided by 5, it's a useless stat compared to attacking the lower Defense, higher move Power, and Speed for turn order. Buffs like Swords Dance don't multiply your attack stat either, just give a 1.5x damage mod (or 0.66x with attack down) while defense up/down on the target is 0.66x/1.5x.
However, Bulldoze increases your target's Action Speed by 3 and makes their turn come by later, 5 in Agile Style (while Agile Style Earth power increases it by 3), and AS is broken down like this:
5 Action Speed = 402 ~ ∞ Speed
6 Action Speed = 317 ~ 401 Speed
7 Action Speed = 243 ~ 316 Speed
8 Action Speed = 182 ~ 242 Speed
9 Action Speed = 130 ~ 181 Speed
10 Action Speed = 89 ~ 129 Speed
11 Action Speed = 56 ~ 88 Speed
12 Action Speed = 32 ~ 55 Speed
13 Action Speed = 16 ~ 31 Speed
14 Action Speed = 1 ~ 15 Speed
Garchomp will reach 324 ~ 345 ~ 365 Speed so he'll always stay in that 6 AS bracket, and Bulldoze can get him the edge turn wise
