I didn't say they couldn't, but the point is that Snivy was 1. already a snake according to its species name and 2. was heavily foreshadowed to evolve to be more snakelike by its design. There's literally no reason to believe Fuecoco will become a snake beyond desperate patternfag coping.

Your argument is retarded. From the beginning Snivy was labeled as the Grass Snake Pokemon, and designed with tiny little vestigial limbs. Fuecoco is labeled the Fire Croc, and has extremely large hindlegs with stubby arms like a real crocodile. There's zero reason to look at it and think those are gonna go away.

Because Snivy's limbs are vestigial, they're just there because it's young and needs them to balance. They go away as it gets older because it no longer needs them. This is based on real snakes which have a pair of vestigial claws that they they use to climb things, and they use them less and less as they grow older, becoming longer and stronger. That doesn't really apply here because crocodiles use their limbs extensively for swimming and chasing prey and will always need them. And again, Fuecoco's limbs are full sized and proportionate to his fat fuck body so there's zero implication they're going to shrink or go away.
