Or a path way to enter a town which acts like a loading buffer in the same way the doors in resident evil did.
They can't have things be able to flow perfectly into one and other, if they have flying in the game. Not with the pop in of most gamefreak games.
What I personally expect.
Instanced towns and cities, Large open areas with small settlements of 2-3 campsites or ranches.
Legends style exploration. With what looks like more stuff in the overworld. But nothing of any substance. In-between these areas more open routes with a specific design in mind.
What I would want.
Botw style movement. Let me climb a wall if I want to give me a stamina bar or some shit, let me throw a rock at a stupid swablu to get it to fuck off.
More foliage and trash on the floor to make the areas seem less like Unity tree assets pasted a few dozen times on a plain field.
