Throwing money at something doesn't make it automatically better. Game Freak employees just aren't good at making the games look pretty. Pokken and Snap both look far better and have a significantly smaller budget.

Not only that but the games are usually rushed to be released at a certain date. A lot of the devs are pushed around by TPC and don't have much of a say in the matter.

Bros I'm an old ass man of 29, I played a shit ton of GC when I was coming up and it never looked that good.

The Switch is a hybrid handheld system that runs on hardware that was already outdated when it launched.

The Gamecube never had like, mindblowing graphics. I'd say the PS2 was a lot better in terms of graphics overall, even games that still look amazing to this day like SotC, FFXII or MGS3.
