Don't lie, everything after gen 5 has been pure garbage. They sacrificed exploration and world building for battle gimmicks and graphics.

It’s fine honestly, they don’t make pokemon games for me anymore and that’s whatever. There’s 5 gens of solid games with their own quirks and unique stuff that could keep me satisfied and not letting gamefreaks lack of effort live rent free in my brain is better than trying to squeeze some fun out of a 60$ soulless cash grab

ORAS were decent, Gen 7 was fine, the SwSh DLC was fun, LA was good, SV look good. Really only XY and SwSh were bad so far. Don't make a generalization just to simplify discussion.
