>>49796488>>49796677It doesn't look like either. It's more like that "just add a shot to hot milk" chocolate syrup. Marmite is lighter brown when spread and won't go that evenly even if you put a ton, and you wouldn't put a ton, because marmite enjoyers understand you use a butter base to get it to spread evenly and don't need a large amount for a strong flavour.
>>49797090When I was a kid my problem was always things being drowned in salty gravy and onions. Now it's a mixture of way too much onions sauce, constant gravy pies, trying to put sweet veg with meats that don't work with sweet veg, stews that are like half a bottle of worchestershire sauce, dumping an entire jar of pasta sauce for two people. I think parents' taste buds are dying so they keep making shit too strong, but not good flavours. Like you know the stir fry kits they sell in supermarkets? Tub of precut veg, a pack of sauce, diced meat, egg noodles. And you put the ingredients in order of their cooking times and stir them all together in the sauce at the end? Mum did that one time when she visited me at uni and it was great, but now at home she fries the veg, pours a bottle of onions sauce and half a litre of water on them, sticks them in a glass covered dish, puts it in the fucking oven of all things. Then it's a struggle to stop her putting a completely different sauce on the noodles, and then a third flavour on the meat before putting it on the plate. I don't even know what the fuck she's doing, it's edible but it's just not good. Whenever she serves it I'm leaving the veg to eat last like I'm a little kid again dreading my veg. Who the fuck does onions sauce, sweet chilli, and barbecue sauce as a single stir fry.
The weird curries in SwSh are more appetising.
