The nu characters reject everything about what made pokemon soulful, the models are atrocious. I'm sure this open world shit will have a catch just watch, it won't have the superior PLA catching. I'd love to be proven wrong but I know that I won't be, we've entered the Dark Age of pokemon... we had such a good run too

All of it screams life and breathing place. Just limited by the 3DS power.
It had large areas, the cities have distinct styles all the islands have their own cultures etc.
All the game is so welcoming.
Galar is cold, very to-the-point... Very British actually.
The cities are just skins of towns with the complexity of XY cities. Not 3D environments like SM.

SwSh story is a joke and a bad copy of SM but boring.

SM routes merge like wilderness and they're rounded, you can go from a to b and from b to a (mostly of times) SwSh routes are plain lines of dirt or bridges. Gen 7 route 1 is fucking massive meanwhile Gen 8 is just a 2 path line.

Anyways, every big city of any game is 100 times better than the "best" city of Galar.
