I'm probably going to buy Violet since I think the starting outfit looks better, but I still want to know about any other version exclusives before making a final decision.

I'm guessing most people will buy Scarlet unless we end up with something like the Ho-Oh and Lugia situation again.

Neither, I haven't bought a Pokemon game since X. I'll play whatever one my friend gets since she let's me borrow her copies now that Switch games save to the console and not the game cart.

This is starting to sound like the Necrozma stuff again to be honest. It also explains why the outfit colors are different. One is longer wavelength colors and the the other is short wavelength colors.

I'm guessing it was a combination of blue being alot of boys favorite color and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles making Blastoise seem really cool especially back then.
