>>49813196>>49813191>>49813170>>49813160Wow I just realized how mangled this line is:
> also forgot to mention how Quetzalcoatl's wind and cultural elements tie into one another,....teotihuacano associations mentioned in the dump),What I was trying to say here in that some Mesoamerican art, including Aztec art, speech, song, etc is depicted as spiral wind gusts coming through the mouth, which ties wind to sound/speech/culture. This also ties into why Quetzalcoatl wears the wind jewel conch pendant, as conches both blow air and produce sound, again, tying into both wind and high cultutre; and the spiral shape to the other motifs in the image, what I said about the Teotihuacano feathered serpent, etc
also I'll add that if you want a fakemon(s) that handle quetzalcoatl decently well, look at Sage: They have Quetzar which represents Quetzalcoatl's intellectual elements, and Tozecko which ties into the wind elements, though sort of retroactively. Most of the people doing sage mon concepts clearly didn't know much about Prehispanic stuff, though that's better now/these days with current content.
I also quite like Subjectively's Axolotl and Sun Stone mons but that's not feathered serpents.
>>49814227The way i'd do a Xiuhcoatl pokemon is make it fire/electric, and then turn the rattles on it's tail into darts it fires out to tie into the Atlatl theme I mentioned. Maybe make the upturned lip with teeth it has into flames or electrical bolts. Color scheme would be teal and red, since the "xiuh" means turquioise, which was associated with fire (hence Xiuhtecuhtli being the god of fire)
>>49814836Lockstin included the quetzalcoatl theory in his video though
>>49813314is cripplechan 8 chan? Anyways, I post on /v/, here, /a/ and /his/ regularly, and then occasionally check /m/, /tv/, /co/, and /toy/ if particular stuff I care about is coming out, and then I occasionally check /k/, /tg/, /lit/ and /x/ in case mesoamerican stuff comes up
