Electrode/Voltorb aren't found in nature, they aren't made out of Apricorns. Pokeballs only exist because of these two and humans realizing Apricorns are the closest thing to an Electrode/Voltorb and it just happened to work out that way.

Voltorb/Electrode came first.

Their personalities flipped over time due to how people treated them. Hisuian Voltorb were happy go lucky and just wanted to be included only to be treated bad by humans and eventually evolve into angry Electrode.

Over the years, Voltorb started becoming naturally angry due to how they were treated before but eventually evolve into modern day Electrode that have grown to accept the abuse and negativity and just enjoying life like their Voltorb ancestors used to
