Yes. It really is ironic how SS ended up being the best looking Switch games after manchildren spent months trying to pretend the graphics are bad.
They're so deluded that now they're trying to say the plastic garbage from PLA/ScarlViole is somehow any better.

I know this is a falseflag thread and all that, but this pic really shows a world of difference between two games made by the same exact company only 3 years apart. SV doesn't look groundbreaking by any stretch of the imagination, but it bare minimum looks appropriate for the hardware and not generations behind. Unironically, what changed in such a short time?

Anon that's just the Switch in general. Of course it
rarely ever gets as aggressively obvious as it was in PLA, but its very much noticeable in a lot of games on the system.

The Switch can run a decent AA like in Zelda and Mario Odissey.
The problem here is that the res looks to be at 720p,so the Ailsing is even more noticeable

No? Sevipers scales in the normal map are much larger in snap
you can tell if you look close at any screenshot from snap
They also have a distinct bluish shine that’s there even in white lighting in the photo dex

I think the smaller scales in SV look more “realistic” on a snake that big and more reptilian, bigger ones from snap are more fishlike to me but it’s a matter of taste really

Why did they have to regress from the cel-shading anime style from SwSh? It was the one thing that game did right. The new lighting since BDSP looks soulless.

Jokes on you I'm a JRPG fan that has played DQXI, Ni no Kuni, Persona 5, FFVII remake and Digimon Cyber Sleuth so you can you can come up with a better strawman. Gen 9 it's undeniably better than SwSh simply because we've been beta testing for it since Gen 7.

The map looked pretty bad (especially the wild area) but the Pokemon looked damn good
If you take SwSh's pokemon and slap them on a map that looks like Genshin Impact you get the perfect pokemon game.
