This thread is for all things POKéMONSTER HUNTER . How would it work? How DOES it work ? What is the gameplay ? What is the reality ?

I imagine Large Monsters need a larger POKéBALL than POKéMON do : so they're a " two-handed weapon " . Typical POKéMON of the POKéMON franchise of EARTH however : are usually mostly small or medium monsters ( GROUDON and KYOGRE and RAYQUAZA nonwithstanding ) and are thusly a " one-handed weapon " .

This explains the MONSTER HUNTER STORIES weapon loadout : two 2h weapons and a LARGE MONSTER is 6 slots . There 6 slots for them too but it's a children's game like POKéMON .

That would be neat : using two POKéMON against a LARGE MONSTER instead of any weapons : two PACHIRISU !!!

I don't like the idea of skinning them but I like the idea of them dropping parts if they get hit by a critical attack .

Or shedding as their happiness goes up and when they level up : you get a part to make POKéMON armor .

As a side note : I'm not a fan of these kinds of designs ( pic ) but it's how I imagine one at level 1000 would look without being fed POKéBLOCKS for it's appearance or health .
