Wasn't there something even more retarded in SMUSUM (might've only been USUM, don't remember). In the Japanese-esque town with the Probopass that gives you a letter (I forget the name, I think it was Konikoni), there was a man near the harbor who wants to see a Z-move in order to get the inspired to propose or some shit like that. It made no sense at all to me.

As another Anon mentioned, this Request is easy. Simply bring a Scyther to the requester, and the dialogue will play out. Majority of the Requests/side quests in the game are fairly simple and straightforward. Most tedious amongst them all might be those that reoccur, or require hunting multiple items/Pokemon without supplying the player with the entire list beforehand. Like the Request with Combee's honey. Hate that guy. Obsidian - Gruelling Grove, Cobalt - Aipom Hill, Obsidian - Ramanas Island, by the way. Capture a Combee from each of those locations.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the game is good, and I'm happy for everyone who bought it. Just think I outgrew Pokemon. This is still a win for me because I hate doomposters and arrogant romhackers.

No need to worry lol. Such a thing happening is only natural. Seeing SV continue in the direction introduced in PL:A was satisfying. Hopefully the mainline series continues to evolve in meaningful manners following Legends: Arceus, as well as Scarlet & Violet.

In BDSP, a remake so boringly faithful to the originals they even kept a visual glitch in your room's walls, they changed the flowers in Twinleaf Town to new scarlet and violet ones, all without changing the other flowers that used to be the same, they changed only these ones, conveniently to the colors of the new games. There's also pic related in SwSh

The name of the flower, violet, came first and the name of the color came second
There are some violets that are blue (google blue violet flower)
Violet the color is purple, a cool toned purple typically, but definitely not blue. If you think a navy blue is the same as violet you are colorblind.
