>>49820505>Gen 7 did the perfect mix of monster and humanHard disagree, the only Alolan starter I could stomach was Decidueye. The perfect mix of humanoid starters was a gen prior in Kalos with Chestnaught, Delphox and Greninja. The concept was solid, cohesive and fit the themes of the game.
It's a shame people have such a hate boner for X & Y when one of the things it did right was have a great roster of new Pokemon to choose from. Noivern, Trevenant, Hawlucha, Malamar, Dragalge, Heliolisk, Aurorus, etc... are all part of the same roster and some of the best designs in that era. The sad part is their megas got canned in favor of the Kanto starters, and we never got to see them before GF scrapped the concept entirely.
