Content creators deserve to be paid a fair wage, but there are ways to achieve this that don't hold years of human progress back behind a paywall.
That said, I don't play games often enough to keep up with the piracy scene anymore and I'm usually willing to pay for the convenience of a physical cartridge. I'm too old to keep up with which torrenting sites are legit. In fact, I don't even know if torrents are still the main form of piracy these days...
