I wasn't aware of this, what features are only on mobile? I only use Home through Switch, granted I just started using it very recently

Unless they made a change, everything trading related is exclusive to the mobile version. GTS, Wonder Box, Room Trade, and Friend Trade. Meanwhile transferring to and from games is exclusive to the console versions.

I never used home because it is not free, it's laughable that a company such as gamefreak would not let us have a service like that for free when you can only use it after shelling your usual ~60 bucks and it comes useful only after having shelled at least ~120
fuck gamefreak with its usual anticonsumer practices and fuck pokemon home

if you stop paying for premium, then any Pokémon that aren't in the 1st box of your home become inaccessible. But afaik there hasn't been anything stated that they'll delete the extraneous mons? You can just pay again and you'll gain access to them.

Once they release support for BDSP / PLA I can keep nearly everything outside of HOME and just use the basic box for the few Unova/Kalos/Alola mons that are not in gen 8.

This literally wouldn't even happen in Bank in a short amount of time. I didn't have a Bank sub for two years and it kept my 2,000 of my MM Absols when I resubbed despite me leaving them in there for the express purpose of wanting to delete them.

Bank did that but that is not how HOME works. If your sub lapses then you start paying again you regain access to your mons.
