Looking at this image I don't think I hate what I remember of Ash. Nowadays the name is associated with losing Kalos, SM's artstyle that has people who do not like it, and a homosexual relationship, but was Ash as a character liked during Gen 1? Did people know him by more than "the pokemon outfit guy"?
