gyrados is probably one of the biggest winners in the series

>available in every single gen pretty early

Honestly Crobat and Gyrados are complete fucking beasts in any playthrough. Especially since they come from the most annoying and useless mon in all of pokemon.

I try so hard to not have Flygon, but I hate most other ground types, so I always catch one the second I get the goggles. Tried for a shiny til my patience overwhelmed me.

I always get a Magikarp ASAP then aggressively throw it at every Pokemon I can find till it becomes a Gyarados.

I love them because they're great damage dealers, they're really good for killing dragons, and they just badass as hell.
