>>49879383I was pretty stoked. There were already excuses in the Pokemon universe for growing/shrinking things, but this was definitely the most blunt. However, while the dynamax gimmick generated a lot of big Pokegirl art, I didn't find it altering how much giant Pokemon art we got on average. That number stayed the same more or less.
What DID increase the number was the alpha Pokemon gimmick from PLA, which has been a godsend in that regard, and the inverse of dynamax. More people draw alpha Pokemon than they do alpha Pokegirls, and that suits me just fine. I guess artists are more comfortable with drawing 10 foot tall Pokemon, instead of 100 foot tall Pokemon.
Honorable mention to the Pokemon Snap DLC. Glad the shrinkbros got some representation too.
