PLA panders way more to normalfag GO players with its mechanics than LGPE. It's literally for people who never liked Pokémon and lose their minds over how it 'streamlines' the gameplay so they can fill out the Pokédex, in a rush then move to their next dopamine hit and forget about the game entirely except the mobage-tier 'fun' they had with it.

It has the worst battles and the worst battle system in the franchise and there's also so little battles in the game compared to ANY other game in the franchise. You know what, fuck you. I'll say that LGPE also has wild battles now since you can fight the legendary pokemons before catching them. There's only like 4 of them, but who cares about quantity when some faggot implies that LPA has battles

I kind of doubt this because it was SO different. I think it'll either be looked at more like Gen 1 (the start of a great new formula so beloved and nostalgic but admittedly rough and empty compared to later entries) if the Legends series continues and improves, or if they never do anything with it again will be the new Conquest/Ranger of people looking fondly back on it and throwing a fit there's no new one.

You're kidding right? LGPE and PLA are both more of a real Pokemon game than SM/USUM/SWSH were.
In fact I'd argue SM/SWSH pandered far harder to Gofags than LGPE or PLA did because their "gameplay" is surface level and incorporates a bunch of GO shit like raids.
Meanwhile LGPE and PLA look, feel, and play like real Pokemon games.

PLA doesn't play anything like a real Pokémon game. Barely any Pokémon, barely any battles, a wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am catching simulator with mechanics that pander to GOfags. Game Freak must be laughing all the way to the bank at the dupes soifacing over throwing Pokéballs and "properly scaled Pokémon", letting them get away with making games are increasingly just empty voids full of procedurally generated monsters i.e Pokémon GO on a console. SM/SWSH might have had a shitty and cramped story mode but they still play like Pokémon games outside of shit like the Wild Area.
