>>49853375Nta but Gen 7 is 100% better than SwSh. It’s linear but actually has a good story and characters. It’s got some really good battles, totem battles are still to this day my favourite boss fights in any Pokémon game (2 on 1 battling is pretty tense no matter what, especially when the totem mon gets a free stat boost), and it’s filled with optional side areas for players who want to bother with that.
