The claim that Professor Ivy was a lesbian came from clickbait sites that claim that it was written down in the pokemon novels written by Takeshi Shudo. From what I've heard of others Ivy was never mentioned in those books.

Yes. Rumors and speculation are partly why Pokémon is as fun as it is.
I can appreciate not wanting fan-theories to be passed off as fact, and then further cited as evidence, but any of this coming from DYKNG of all places, is rich.
Regardless, the only theory they "deboonked" based on the direct response from a creator was the Mew/Ditto connection with Masuda, and he's a moron.

This is researched by dr Lava who then gives it to dykg(for some resaon he doesn't develop his own channel). I do hate dykg for spreading misinformation but in this fanbase the bar is way too low to allow us to have standards.
