Bonsly was simple to max-out on my end, while Cherubi is proving to be difficult. Meanwhile, you are reporting the exact opposite. Seems I was wrong about the food research, but do try feeding Bonsly should you find one again. Simply feeding it five times will increase your Research Level by five. Capturing it, and doing so without it noticing you, which will be easy with food and a Heavy/Leaden/Gigaton Ball, should be enough to finally put an end to your troubles. As another Anon mentioned, you could also get lucky with a Massive Mass Outbreak. Best of luck in your hunt!
