Do you think the breeding mechanic will make it into Scarlet and Violet? Every core series game from GSC till USUM has had breeding in some capacity, even if it was restricted to the postgame in a few games like FRLG and BW2. However, LGPE did not have breeding and neither does PLA. SwSh does, but that doesn't necessarily imply that the feature will be retained in future entries. BDSP has it because it was there in the originals. You can change a Pokemon's IVs, EVs, nature, ability, etc. more easily than before and they could always make baby Pokemon available in the wild and do away with breeding altogether. While I don't want them to remove breeding, I can see GameFreak removing the mechanic as they no longer consider it relevant and most people don't seem to be bothered by its removal in LGPE or PLA, which are technically core series titles and not spin-offs.
