questions before buying shining pearl

i have a few questions before i might buy shining pearl.
1. is the battle system just as slow as sword and shield or is it faster?
2. is there end game content like the battle tower or something comparable
3. does it have a complete pokedex
4. is this the standard for online batteling? or do people still use sword and shield?

its pretty much 1:1 remake of the original DPPT, with some quality of life improvements, expanded underground, & ramanas park where the pal park was.

1. no idea what that means, its the same style as sword and shield battling
2. same battle tower as DPPT, only postgame addition being ramanas park which is where you catch all the other legends up to gen 4
3. 1:1 remake, so same dex as DPPT, no new pokemon after that.
4. SWSH is the standard still.

Ehh kinda right.

1. Battles are on par with SwSh in terms of speed (certainly faster than DP) but they do have this "Amie" shit where pokemon will occasionally not take damage, not faint or even critical and it's something you have little control over.

2. It has the battle tower, rematches with gym leaders, elite 4 and champion with arguable more difficult teams and Ramas Park so you don't have to transfer regis to get Regina's.

3. As far as I'm aware, it has pokemon from the first 4 gens. It is DP's dex, but platinum encounters are underground so available just before the 2nd badge.

4. Not a comp fag, SwSh is still the meta as far as I understand.

The game is repetitive as hell since the wild pokemon and the npc trainer teams are always the same.
