Pokemon has one of the most awful turn based combat systems ever created. Heres how a typical game goes you have your mons and the opponent has theirs so you send out something. Oh shit type mismatch better switch then your opponent goes oh shit type mismatch better switch or doesnt or maybe it just keeps going on a switch loop until someone fucks up.
