They are one of the most disease resistant mammals, areas with larger populations actually having lower than average rates of tick born illness because they are immune to rabies and eat the little fuckers like candy.
Have it in lore that they particularly prey on poison types like grimer or muk that pop up in urban environments do to pollution.

Normal/Poison, Normal because it's vermin and would probably be the early route normal mon, and Poison because and Poison because it's resistant to a lot of diseases such as rabies and can eat a lot of weird shit to no ill effect.
