That is every pokemon game, Kanto is the OG and undisputed King. Only Johto is better, and thats because it is Johto + Kanto combined.

Yes, did you? They change up the formula from the usual 8 gyms and have a strong story with few mentions of Kanto outside of things that are originally from the region

yeah, I loved the part where I had to do 8 gyms just like KANTOOOOO again. The game had so much pandering to kanto.
