Let’s talk about age in Pokemon. How does it make sense that all of these characters (except Brock) are 10? Most of them dont look 10 and why would Brock, a 15 year old, want to hang out with 10 year olds. Wouldn’t the arbitrary age theory make more sense? One acquires the status of “10” when they are able to journey on their own; “15” when they acquire the ability to act as a caretaker of children; “20” when you have a child; and “50” when you have grandchildren.
