Have you actually seen them move around in the mass outbreaks? HDecidueye looks like a fantasy raptor or a cassowary with more feathers and HTyphlosion is a giant badger. They fit in perfectly fine in the wild, which is more than you can say for shit like Sceptile, Blaziken, Cinderace, Greninja or Incineroar.

Hisuian Decidueye's "hat" is not a real hat you blockhead. The hat is a bunch of head feathers that look like a ronin hat to bring the whole theme together. It's a fantasy monster, so the designers could take creative liberties if they wanted. Yes, it looks better and more natural than the shitty jobmons of galar. It looks like it can have more than one fucking personality. But sure, there's no way a real owl could have prominent head feathers, right?

Gen 4 and 3 starters are all excellent. 7 is close. 1 and 5 are still solid. 2 is plain as fuck but still not shit. 6 they could have done a lot better. 8 feels like theres one true final evolution standing next to two NFEs and Cinderace is just a shit design. PLA is depressing as fuck, theyre practically saying "please kill me, it hurts to live"

Just because your Hoennbaby nostalgia blinds you to how utterly ugly the Hoenn starters doesn't mean I'm not right. All three are abominations in design with a bunch of random shit thrown on with no rhyme or reason, something the later starters actually had. The ugly tail and leaf arms of Sceptile, literally everything about Blaziken, the pointy whisker cheeks and orange warts Swampert has. Those things shouldn't ever be grouped with gen 1 and 2's starters because at least they look like actual wild animals. Gen 3 starters are dogshit because they're in the middle of being overdesigned garbage but before there was any kind of comprehensive theme that ties it's forms together, leaving them stranded between gen 1 and 2 (simple animals with some kind of addition to match their element) and gen 4 and later (has some kind of outer design element like samurai, royalty, journey to the west, world turtle, mermaids etc). You can't argue this point because it's true. Only Hoennbabies want to think their starters even deserve to be put on the same level.

H-Typhlosion still looks significantly better than Blaziken though. Hell, H-Decidueye does the whole 'martial artist bird that attacks with kicks' thing significantly better than Blaziken because it actually looks like one of those flightless birds/raptors instead of a man in a chicken suit.

Sceptile is a leaf tailed Gecko, Blaziken is a Garuda, Swampert is an Axolotl/Mudskipper. If you think of Sceptile as a generic lizard with random leaves tossed in its understandable why you would have those retard ideas, but please refrain from opining on the internet about them again. Next Blaziken is a Garuda and is just as much part of Journey to the West as Infernape and Emboar. Do you even read that shit before making references or do you repeat references and namedrop like a giant faggot? And you want to top it off by wondering why an axolotl would have brightly colored whisker/cheeks?
