So many fake Corocoro scans getting passed as legit. Hype went through the roof once Megas were announced, people speculating left and right what Pokemon would get one. Everyone wondering what the hell type Sylveon was gonna be (common ones were flying, love, light, fairy). This was off the heels of BW2 so hype was off the charts here. Leaks were wild when people started getting early copies, lots of convincing fakes, and people trying to "debunk" Greninja and Hawlucha. Say what you will now but these games revitalized a lot of people's interest in the series, being the first 3D mainline games. Comp was at it's most popular here, arguably. I kinda miss it, this board was probably at it's worst during Gen 8 but I have some hope for this Gen's hype season.
