Imagine being a woman, and you see your Pokemon staring at you. Imagine watching his face turn red as you playfully drag your finger up and down his chest (or whatever it is he has). Imagine him obediently letting you lay him down on his back and straddle him. Imagine the look on his face when you lift off your shirt. The look of a creature who isn’t just seeing a really hot woman, because to him, you’re more than that. You’re a superior being. A goddess. Sharing her perfect human form with a lucky inferior creature.
The point is that it wouldn’t automatically be degrading, it could be very empowering.
