They’re extremely beautiful creatures and they were designed to be like that, so it’s perfectly normal to think they’re sexually appealing. It’s like the designers said “let’s start a creature out looking like a human woman, then alter as much as we can to make it as exotic as possible, but also avoid making it ugly”. If that was their goal, they were wildly successful.
