I feel like the only thing holding BW's postgame back is the absurd spike in levels for all postgame trainers, the very next trainer you fight after Ghetsis could be a random fucking guy with a level 67 Bisharp that knows Swords Dance, Iron Defense, Night Slash and Iron Head.
A random fucking guy's best Pokemon has 13 levels over Ghetsis' Hydreigon.

Yeah, but it's more of a matter of the maingame being pretty low on levels (rightfully so though taking into account BW's EXP formula)
It was absurd encountering a random fucking Tyranitar when I first got in BW's postgame lol

It's more likely to be some unevolved shitmon. The hard trainers are farther into the postgame area. It's jarring, but not really difficult.

I haven't played Pokemon since these games, are triple battles, hidden grottos, hidden abilites, battle facilities and shaking grass still a thing?
I was wondering if playing again one of these to complete stuff I wasn't able to do back then or just play one of the newer ones.

I don't have the gen 6 one, but I imagine that a gen 3 one would just be "catch Weather Trio, complete Battle Frontier, fight Steven, all of Wally's rematches are pathetic at this point but you can still do them if you want to, the Regi's are surprisingly not locked behind the postgame and complete the regional dex for a Johto starter" and "rematch the Indigo Plateau, catch Mewtwo, catch a legendary beast that will delete itself if it uses Roar because of a glitch and the Sevii Islands also exist I guess"
