>>49898658For Gen 1, I don't blame you. Most Kanto routes are tiny and unimpressive. The best part is the stretch from Fuschia back to Pallet/Viridian via the Seafoam Islands and Cinnabar, since your journey is literally coming full circle, but most people fly back anyway. People complain about Alola, but Kanto routes are worse on average. I think SwShit routes are only as bad as they are because they used LGPE as a starting point to transition to the Switch. I know Pokemon wouldn't be what it is without Kanto, it has the most freedom when it comes to gym order, most peoples' favorite Pokemon are from Kanto, Team Rocket is the most iconic team, the first 151 are the most iconic roster, blah, blah... but it's still the most overrated region by far.
