Why did I hate gen 5 when it first came out even though my friends liked it?
I remember sperging about it being too linear and the Pokemon looking like ass, how the focus on story seemed out of place in a Pokemon game, the cut scenes being too long. I thought infinite TMs was over powered.
My friends all just shrugged off my criticisms.
I replayed White recently and honestly I feel like I must have been retarded back then.
Literally everything I hated was either:
Tolerable (like the cut scenes and the designs of some of the Pokemon.)
Deadass wrong (like it being too linear.)
Or actually a good change that was well balanced (yes TMs are unlimited use BUT the good TMs are all only available in the post game.)
The only thing I can figure is that I smoked weed all the time back then and I don't these days.
