probably eastern Canada (so, everything from Ontario to the Atlantic). it's been a while since we've really had a Cold Region that isn't Sinnoh, so I think it'd be a nice change of pace. this next one looks like it's gonna be, what, the fourth tropical region? maybe fifth?

where else do you even go in Japan, though? the only regions that haven't really been touched are Tohoku, Chugoku, and Shikoku, none of which are all that intriguing on their own. I guess you could combine Chugoku and Shikoku into one region? Hiroshima would work as a central city to base it around, at least moreso than Sendai.

It'll be Tohoku and some of northeast Chubu. But you'll have access to Kanto and Johto in the post game, or something like that. It's the tenth game so you know they're gonna try to go all out for it. It'll also feature the thousandth pokemon

Romania - Dracula region. Make the whole game kind of spooky.
Ireland - Could do some fun with the lore there like shamrocks The Morrigan.
Italy - Good food and battle gondolas.
Germany - food and traffic light men.
China - Martial arts cool temples
