Sure, kanto did have a "generic kaiju" design that a lot mon's drew from. But all of those mons are good: Ryhdon, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Khangaskan.

And there's plenty of good elemental animals like Manectric and Boltund. Let haters hate and move on.
