When you shit on Ult. S/M for being too "linear" your really just arguing that autistically

UltraSM aren't the "canon" games of the timeline.
Just an alternative one.

Their world had so much to offer but it was just a straight line to the tower. I get the enclosure for the Necrozma thing but... after that?

I wasn't expecting a whole new region... but please. At least a city of size.

The problem is that USUM didn't knew what it wanted to be.

It was a "third" version, a new story?

In plot A you have Lusamine, UBs and Lillie.

In plot B you have the URS (ahem, Ultra Recon Squad) with the Blinding One a.k.a Necrozma.

Those plots have SOMETHING in common but derive into totally different things.
