I think we need to have a serious discussion about the role Pokémon Trainers can have in battles. For instance, using a mechanic like say, Dynamax on your trainer instead of your Pokémon. How do you all think these mechanics would work if used on a Pokémon Trainer, and how would it affect the battle?
