I'm F2P but I've seen so many players in /pmg/ crack and spend their first amount of money on it and it's sad because the devs waste the money they make dragging their feet not building up the game. Imagine if Smash had 200 characters to play as but only like 3 stages to play them on, and only against the AI instead of other people. That's Pokemon Masters. The game moves at a snail's pace where you have to either be really lucky or wait months to guarantee you get a character, and then you're expected to get 3 copies of the character to fully utilize them. It's purposefully timegated in the resources that matter to make you keep revisiting the game just to collect them with nothing else to do.
