>>49922608They don't really, it's just the licensed ones. 8bitdo stuff doesn't have characters on it, nor does most of the unlicensed cheap controllers from China. Most of Hori's stuff doesn't have characters on it either. It's just PowerA's Nintendo controllers that have characters or game logos everywhere, but a few of theirs don't like the GameCube style controllers, and some of the Pro Controller style ones. They're probably paying quite a bit to be officially licensed, so why not put characters on them so more people buy them.
