someone (Champ) used a tripcode so that there would be no impersonators
ඞ first six suggestions (that are legal in the format) are what makes up the team. champ battles a few times until bored and calls a new team/champ. first come first serve.
with many spectators it could be a bit hectic, with a lot of taunting, heckling, trolling, and usage of slurs. note that the spectators would bully champ and opponent. mods did not like it.
it started with mods putting on modchat, so only users with roomvoice could talk. but the two people battling can promote spectators to have roomvoice. very quickly it was realized that mods were stalking, so everyone just went and spectated random matches just to mess with the mods (making it so uninvolved people got muted)
now innocent people are getting muted, so everyone starts spamming mod brutality or whatever and "I CAN'T SNEETHE" and "free my bro [username] dindu nothin wrong" and also "DOES IT FOR FREE"
note that all of this is happening in private matches, so this isnt in a public lobby, and many champs even started with telling opponent that they can run a ignore spectators command if they wanted (before giving spectators roomvoice)
eventually though they ran some bot or script that flagged showderpers, and automatically locked the whole chat if there were 3 or more (maybe 4?) people who were flagged as showderp associate. also the whole server slowed down and i think it also crashed around that time. coincidence? i think not.
anyway someone made a mirror showdown where showderpers arent muted, but also there was no chat limit so i immediately copypasted the whole bee movie script just to see what would happen.
people started to lose interest after that, part of the fun was that sometimes opponent would join chat all confused but still join the party. or fall for the tricks
idk about the pedo allegations, could be both mods and showderp.
