Sludge Wave is slightly stronger than Poison Jab and both get the Sheer Force boost.
Earth Power is slightly weaker but Earthquake does NOT get boosted by Sheer Force, making Earth Power stronger in the end.

Nidoking's special moves have higher base power than most of it's options after sheer force

Sludge wave= 123.5 vs poison jab 80=104
>Boltbeamthrower vs punches
Boltbeamthrower=117 vs 97.5
>Earth power vs EQ
Earth power=117 vs 100(+LO chip)
Maybe if it got moves like gunk shot(156 after SF) and Crunch(104 after SE) along with SD/Bulk up/DD it would be better/equal to special

It's not, either way there's no one stopping you from using physical Nidoking both ingame and on simulators.

i used EQ for the pyhsical option knowing it didn't get the boost but thinking its high base power would give it the edge, but it didn't

bulldoze is an option that gets the boost and no recoil, but it was still even weaker than EQ

Sheer Force raises the base power of any affected move by 30%, and negates Life Orb recoil when you use an affected move. So, Earth Power ends up being ~4-5% stronger than Earthquake and doesn't make you take recoil damage, even though Nidoking's Attack is higher than his Special Attack.
The rest of Nidoking's physical moves are just lower BP than his special moves, and even if they weren't you'd still have to choose between full strength Earth Power and full strength coverage moves, so full special is the preferred set. You can run Hasty or Naive with Superpower on a special set though, a lot of the specially bulky Normals that switch into Nidoking take more from that than anything else even if you don't run Attack EVs.

OP is still following the meta, he just doesn't understand why the meta is the meta. Unless the point you're trying to make "figuring something out for himself" in which case, that's also not true because he only tried out the damage calcs because Smogon told him to run a special Nidoking and then came here to ask about it further.
